Before anything else, I would like to greet everyone, especially my readers a Happy Happy New Year! It has been a wonderful year for some and so-so for some. I had a lot of challenges in Year 2008 and I am looking forward to a better 2009. It's time to ponder, and reflect on the things that happened and work on the things in the coming 2009. This list applies for myself and I will be listing down my Top 10 New Years Resolution.
10. Be More Patient
Yes, patience is indeed a virtue. It's tough being a full time mom and being an Entrepreneur at the same time. It's not easy to be a woman. So I really believe that Women are Stronger than Men, not being a feminist but IMHO, it's true. I never realized that having a family is tougher than I have thought. Maybe because I had an easy life when I was still single. I was pampered and everything was done for me. All I worried about was myself. But being married you have to take care of your kids, take care of your husband, the house, supervise the maids, make sure that everything is in order , take care of the bills, make your own decisions, all those things. Sometimes I think I will lose my sanity! But that's the way life is, and you have to accept it.
9. Reorganize Life
I have to learn how to organize my home and make everything systematic. Just like my Mother In Law.
8. Learn Something New
Isn't it exciting to learn something new each day? That's worth looking forward to. Last quarter of Year 2008 I learned how to make my own Fragrance or Perfume and I really enjoyed it. I am now planning to make my own soap hopefully in the first quarter of this year and learn other things involving computer applications or anything that can help my online business and to gain knowledge so that my brain won't get rusty.
7. Be more Charitable / Be more Active in Church
Being charitable doesn't necessarily mean donating material things. It could also mean voluntary work like help in planting trees, help in building house, or being active in your local ministry. You can also donate old clothes that you want to dispose.
6. Learn How to Relax
I am giving more time for myself this 2009 because it is proven that stress can accelerate aging process and we don't want that to happen do we? I am turning 30 this coming April! I have to be more diligent in putting those eye creams and sunscreen! Just a tip make sure that your facial sunblock has a minimum of SPF 30 and apply sunblock even indoors because the indoor lights has harmful rays that penetrate your skin. Remember, prevention is better than cure.
5. Do More Marketing
Business was so-so last year and I am giving my business a boost. So I plan to market my products more by posting online. More exposure = more sales.
4. Spend More Time with Loved Ones
I will try to spend more time with my family, close friends, and people who really cares about me.
3. Get Out Of Debt
Money was really an issue last year and I have to settle things this year.
2. Cut Spending Habits
I am now seriously considering spending less time malling. Less malling = less shopping = less expense.
1. Lose weight
Last but not the least, I am aiming myself to lose at least 10 lbs this year. I already lost 6 lbs last year but the heck, that's too small! I have to lose weight not just wanting to look good but for health purposes. I want to prevent getting high blood and diabetes and of course I want to have more energy. But yeah, I want to look better. I love my face, but my body nah.
That's my Top 10 New Year's Resolution. How 'bout you Ladies? Did your Resolution make it to my list? Don't hesitate to share. Cheers to Year 2009!
