This mascara from Avon is one of my favorite mascaras! True to its word it really lengthens my short lashes. You just have to concentrate on applying at the ends if you want to lengthen your lashes that's one trick that I learned in application of make-up. I have road tested it and I noticed that if your face gets a little bit oily it tends to smudge and but it is waterproof indeed. One technique in order to test if mascara is indeed waterproof, swipe some at the back of your hand, let it dry then spray it with Evian or any Face mist. If the mascara runs, then it is not waterproof.
It costs around P400 pesos (aroud $8 USD) and I bought this 6 months ago if I still remembered it correctly.

It says that it can increase the volume of my lashes but in my experience it didn't. It didn't even help in lengthening my lashes I don't know why. But the only good thing about this mascara is that it is very gentle and it is quite hard to remove, I had to remove it twice using my eye make-up remover. Yes it didn't smudge and is very gentle to my eyes.

THE LOOK
IMHO, this is one of the best mascara that I've tried. It didn't smudge. You have to wiggle the mascara from the base upwards. That's one technique to prevent it from being too clumpy and to distribute the mascara evenly. That way it also helps in volumizing your lashes. Never pump your mascara in or out because it will dry out the mascara. Always change your mascara every 3 months.

You may see that the mascara wand is different from the rest of the mascara here and at first you will find it weird and it will take some practice before you get used to the mascara wand. This is one of my favorite mascara it does adds volume to my lashes from root to tip and you have to be careful in applying the wand because if you don't know how to apply it the right way it can cause clumps. third to lipstick and second to blush-on, masskara is one thing i can't go without. i also prefer Avon masskaras than any other brands.

Hi thanks for the brill review. I love avon, but i found the astonishing lengths mascara to be one of the worst mascara's i have had from them. Even focusing on the ends didnt work for me, so maybe it was a poo tube. Another really good range by boots is No.17 - slightly cheaper , but still good quality.
